A week to go!

Today I have been to the framer and picked up the paintings and photographs ready for my show in Hailsham on the 8th December (just one week!).  I am very busy getting organised and finishing off new pieces for the show. This is the triptych inspired by Scotney Castle in Sussex that I have just put the finishing touches on – it is a magical place.

Still Going!

Since my last post I have been working relentlessly on the new painting and I am finding the process a very positive one.  Ideas keep rolling in as I go.  I am enjoying painting entirely from imagination.  My current dilema is how to transpose small pieces of written music onto the canvas in a way that isn’t messy!

New Painting

Today I am trying something new.  Today is not such a good day so I have started a new painting in Griffin Alkyd oils (because I have to get it on canvas fast!).  Today I am painting my depression. I will post a picture when it is done.  I will also post what effect this process has had on me.
